128 years of passion, craftsmanship and hospitality
For four generations, Les Eleveurs in Halle has been known for its warm welcome and refined cuisine. What began as a stable for horse breeders grew into a vibrant hotel-restaurant, where hospitality and quality have always been at the heart of everything we do. Today, we are proud to add a new milestone to that story: Les Eleveurs has been officially recognized as a Craftsperson by the Belgian Federal Public Service Economy.
What does this recognition mean?
The “Craft” label is a protected title in Belgium. It is only awarded to entrepreneurs who can demonstrate that they work with true expertise, authenticity, and quality. It represents more than a product or a service: it is the recognition of tradition, of a way of working, and of a passion that is carried forward by hand and by heart.
For Les Eleveurs, this recognition confirms that our daily pursuit of hospitality, culinary craftsmanship, and local anchoring is more than just words. From the kitchen, where carefully chosen products and suppliers are brought to life, to the family atmosphere in which every guest feels at home — the label validates that this is an authentic way of doing business.
Why does this fit Les Eleveurs so well?
-
Because we believe in pure craftsmanship: from the chef, Michel Borsy, cooking with love and precision to the service that welcomes every guest personally.
-
Because we choose quality over quantity: seasonal dishes, honest ingredients, and wines with a story.
-
Because we are deeply rooted in Halle: for 128 years we have been part of this city, carrying Brabant hospitality forward, generation after generation.
A recognition for the future
The title of Craftsperson is not an endpoint, but an encouragement. It inspires us to continue deepening our craftsmanship, to strengthen our offering, and at the same time to cherish our traditions. Les Eleveurs will remain a place where past and future meet: where the walls whisper stories of the past, and every new guest adds their own memory.
